During SXSW, 2013 in Austin, Texas, Amanda Palmer put on one of her famous “Ninja Gigs,” a surprise free concert promoted through social media. As usual, it was a set to remember.

A large part of the magic behind these shows is the spontaneous and intimate aspect of the last-minute shows, and the fact that they are curated and organized entirely through social media, something that Amanda Palmer is celebrated for championing.

Renowned filmmaker Ondi Timoner was at Palmer’s Ninja Gig during SXSW, documenting the singer/songwriter’s experience during the conference and catching some musical moments, as well.
